Who we are

Fuzzyfiesta is an online pet supplies store trading from Hellemyråsen 42, 4628 Kristiansand, Norway. We are the data controller for the information described on this page.

What we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number if you give us one, and the contents of your order. When you browse we collect standard technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view and the site you arrived from. If you join our list we collect your email address.

What we never collect

We never see or store your full card number. Payments are handled by Shopify and its payment processors, who are PCI DSS compliant. Your card details go straight to them and never touch our systems.

Why we use your information

To process and deliver your order, to send order and delivery updates, to handle returns and support requests, to spot and prevent fraud, to improve the site, and, only if you have opted in, to send you marketing emails.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep your cart and checkout working, and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed, and only with: Shopify, which runs our checkout, payments and order records; our fulfilment and supplier partners, who receive your name and address so your parcel can be shipped; shipping carriers; our email platform; and our analytics provider. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for seven years to meet tax and accounting rules. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept for 26 months.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to marketing, or ask us to limit how we use it. Email support@fuzzyfiesta.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you live in California, the CCPA gives you these rights plus the right not to be treated differently for using them. If you live in the UK or the EU, the UK GDPR and the GDPR give you the same rights plus the right to complain to your data protection regulator.

Marketing emails

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom and one click is enough. Unsubscribing does not stop transactional emails about orders you have already placed.

Children

This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we will delete them.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS and access to order data is limited to the people who need it. No online service can promise perfect security, but we treat yours seriously.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page, and we will flag anything significant on the site.
